iFunction is iPraxis' annual award celebration was held at the University of the Sciences to honor Philadelphia middle school students who placed in their school-based, city-wide, and tri-state science fairs. Students from Belmont Charter, Cook-Wissahickon, Henry C. Lea, and Northwood Academy Charter School were recognized.

In anticipation of the event, David L. Forde, Jr. Director of Community and Government Affairs, University of the Sciences stated "We at USciences are thrilled to have iPraxis students and families on campus for iFunction. We recognize and value the work of iPraxis in enhancing the lives of students in Philadelphia through STEM.  It only seems fitting that we celebrate the accomplishments of these young women and men in a setting steeped in science and give them a glimpse of what their future may hold."

In recognition of their accomplishments, each winner was given an embroidered lab coat and special iPraxis medal. Also receiving awards for their support and hard work this year were Alexandra Brown, Varsha Viswanath, Ravi Shankar, Malik Daniells, Saint Joseph's University, PGW Tech Association, and PCOM American Medical Women's Association.
